Does a Myhome franchise have unique territories?

Yes. You receive one unique territory. All areas include the optimal number of households that fit into Myhome target profile, so you will have ample opportunity to grow a successful and sustainable business.

Are all training costs included in my franchise package?

Yes. The franchise package fee includes your training programme and your accommodation. It also includes ongoing support through systems, support and advisors.

What facilities do I need to manage my business?

At the beginning we suggest you keep overheads to a minimum and run your business from home. Once your business grows you may wish to relocate to commercial premises.

Can I start up a franchise as a partnership?

A Myhome franchise can be managed by one or two people. However if you are operating on your own, you’ll probably find you need to promote a staff member to a managerial/supervisor role as your business grows.

How do I find and hire employees?

Your employees will come from a number of resources, for example newspaper ads and referrals from other employees. You will be taught step by step how to create the advertising, conduct the interviewing and hiring process to get the absolute best employees. You’ll also be shown how to use a bonus and incentive plan to help retain your best employees.

How can I leave my business for a holiday?

You should have a holiday before you launch your business so you can devote your time to getting the business up and running with our easy-to-implement systems.

However, once your business has been launched and you can take a holiday, and all calls can be diverted to our central call centre where appointments will be made, bookings taken and your business will run while you enjoy your break.

Will I be able to talk to existing Franchisees?

Of course. We recommend that you talk to our operating franchisees to have a better understanding of what your life as a Myhome franchisee will be like, and make sure this opportunity is right for you.

Can I continue with my job while the franchise gets going?

No. To give your business the best possible start you will need to commit yourself to a full-time basis. The Myhome franchise does not work in a part-time model.

Do I have to live in the area I am considering for the franchise?

We would normally recommend you do. However if you choose an area within commuting distance from your home, this is of course possible, however you will need your office in the area.

Do I need to be computer literate?

You will be competent in all of our systems and added software after you have completed the Myhome training course. Of course if you have never used a computer before, you would benefit from taking a short introductory course beforehand.

Are my staff employed or self employed? I’ve never been in charge of employees and am concerned about the rules and regulations.

All staff members are fully employed by you. Once you have graduated from your training course you will be confident with recruitment, contracts and how to manage your staff.

Are the products and equipment Myhome use safe?

Yes. All of our products and equipment have been chosen for effectiveness and safety. We do not use toxic or environmentally damaging products. Full details will be provided in the Health and Safety run down.

Can I work from commercial premises straight away?

You can, and if this is your intention it’ll mean you won’t need to move in your first year. However you will need to let us know when we get together so we can include anticipated overhead costs into your business plan.

What type of support do you provide to me as a franchisee?

You will receive ongoing technical and managerial support through our support team along with regular visits. This level of support and guidance is one of the reasons our franchisees, and franchise, is so successful, and one of the reasons we are one of the best options in the franchise market.

Yes, we believe in helping you get the best out of your business, and this is a crucial step. We’ll provide you with all the information you need to successfully run and promote your franchise.
